Instructions for using MAGE (v2.0)
Here, we'll guide you through the usage of the Analysis tab for meta-analysis of gene expression studies.
Follow the steps below to get started:
- Select the type of Meta-analysis: Meta-analysis, Multiple outcomes meta-analysis, or Bayesian meta-analysis. The Bayesian meta-analysis funciton takes the same input with the standard meta-analysis.
- Upload your data file in tab-separated format using the 'Upload Tab-Separated Text Files' button.
- Choose various analysis settings based on your data type and research requirements. Adjust these options as needed for your analysis.
- Click the 'Execute' button to start the analysis. The results will be displayed in the 'Results' of the main panel.
- If you selected 'YES' for Plots, you can explore Volcano and QQ plots, Heterogeneity Histograms and Manhattan plots as well in the 'Plots' section.
- You can also download the results using the 'Download results' button, as well as the interactive plots by clicking on the download button in the far right corner of the plot.
